Public meeting: Free Hana Shalabi

Free Hana Shalabi - 17 AprilFree all Palestinian political prisoners!

Hana Shalabi was released from over two years in administrative detention (that is detention without charge or trial) on 18 October 2011, as part of the prisoner exchange deal concluded by the Israeli government and Hamas. Hana was re-arrested less than four months later on 16 February 2012, and immediately began a hunger strike in protest of her detention.

Hana is one of more than 300 Palestinians currently in Israeli “administrative detention” including more than 20 members of the Palestinian Legislative Council whose only “crime” is to have been elected.
